Abstract

Integrating artificial intelligence in grant management represents a transformative shift in how funding organizations evaluate, distribute, and monitor grant resources. This article examines the multifaceted applications of AI technologies in modernizing grants management processes, focusing on automated application review systems, predictive analytics for outcome forecasting, and machine learning algorithms for portfolio optimization. Through analysis of implemented solutions and industry case studies, it is demonstrated that AI-driven approaches are revolutionizing traditional grant management by enhancing operational efficiency, improving decision-making accuracy, and enabling data-driven impact assessment. The article reveals that organizations adopting AI technologies in their grant management processes experience significant improvements in application processing times, reduced administrative overhead, and enhanced ability to identify high-potential projects. While acknowledging implementation challenges such as data quality requirements and organizational change management, this article provides a framework for understanding both the immediate benefits and long-term implications of AI adoption in the grants management sector. This article builds on established research in AI applications for financial services, machine learning in decision support systems, and digital transformation in nonprofit organizations. This article contributes to the growing knowledge on practical applications of AI in social impact sectors while providing actionable insights for organizations considering AI implementation in their grant management processes.
